Cynthia Songe’ was born a few years ago at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital.  She attended Beverly Vista and Beverly High, graduating from University High. Cynthia graduated from U.C.L.A. with a B.A. in theater arts, where she performed in numerous plays, worked in the film and television departments and garnered a distinguished Hugh O’Brian award for acting.

After college, Cynthia continued to work in theater as an actor and director as well as becoming a member of the Ensemble Studio Theater. She was accomplished, in  television and film as an actor, but after taking a voiceover class with Susan Blu, she found her niche. 

Now, an accomplished voiceover actor in both commercials and animation, represented by the William Morris Agency L.A., Cynthia also teaches voiceover.  Her classes  typically have wait lists of over 600 people.  Cynthia has a passion for bringing actors to their apex of authenticity while achieving excellence in fulfilling the writers intention.  A nurturing teacher, students  surpass what was once their personal best and become competitive in the voiceover arena. 

By producing and directing voiceover demo reels in both animation and commercial, Cynthia has helped create many a career. 

Cynthia works hand in hand with Susan Blu as her Casting Associate for Blupka Productions, Susan’s company.  She has also cast and voice directed several projects on her own. 

She recently co-authored, with Susan Blu, the best selling book “Word of Mouth…a guide to voiceover excellence Vol. 3”
